Prof. Vikas Pathak, Dean, College of Veterinary Science, DUVASU, Mathura, is a graduate of Veterinary Science from CCS HAU, Hisar. He completed his Master's degree in 1996 and Doctorate in 2002, specializing in Animal Products Technology from the same University.
He has been involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching for the last 24 years and has guided 17 M.V.Sc. and 5 Ph.D. students as Major Advisor. His research is recognized nationally and internationally, particularly in functional foods of animal origin and biodegradable packaging.

Prof. Vikas Pathak, Dean, College of Veterinary Science, Uttar Pradesh Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya Evam Go-Anusandhan Sansthan, Mathura (DUVASU), is a graduate of Veterinary Science from CCS HAU, Hisar.
He completed his Master's degree in 1996 and Doctorate in 2002 with specialization in Animal Products Technology from the same University. He has been involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching for the last 24 years and has guided 17 M.V.Sc. and 5 Ph.D. students as Major Advisor.
He has also served the University as Dean Students Welfare, Director, Institute of Para-Veterinary Science, and Director, Go-Anusandhan Sansthan. He is presently holding the office of Head, Department of Livestock Products Technology and Director Research.
Prof. Pathak is a well-recognized researcher at national as well as international level for his work on functional foods of animal origin and biodegradable packaging. He is a life member of several professional societies and has received several best paper awards at different conferences and symposia.
He has authored more than 120 original research articles in journals of national and international repute, besides several book chapters and popular articles.
Prof. Pathak is a distinguished Fellow of the National Academy of Veterinary Sciences, Indian Association of Agricultural Biochemists, National Academy of Dairy Science, India, and Indian Meat Science Association.
